A safe and sustainable future for new generations depends on the decisions Congress is making right now, and the margins are razor thin.

We're asking the government to choose protecting people and our public lands over slashing investments that support the South’s economy and help families pay their energy bills.

Congress continues to subsidize polluting industries with big pocketbooks while making clean energy more expensive. This pushes America further from climate milestones we must meet to secure a sustainable future.

Congress is also looking to do significantly more logging in Southern Appalachian national forests and cut funding for services in national parks, putting recreational areas, clean water, rare species, and local economies at risk. This isn’t a partisan issue, it’s a practical one.
